| When choosing a fire extinguisher BIGGER IS REALLY
BETTER! When faced with a fire, you want all the
extinguishing power available! DO NOT GO CHEAP, AS IF
YOU FACE A FIRE, YOU WANT TO HAVE THE TOOL TO
EXTINGUISH THE FIRE!
Here are some helpful hints on using an A,B,C rated
fire extinguisher:
(1) PULL the pin on the fire extingusher,
(2) AIM the fire extinguisher at the base of the fire
(stand at least 6 feet away from the fire),
(3) SQUEEZE the handle of the fire extinguisher,
(4) SWEEP the extinguisher left to right while aiming
at the base of the fire.
Remember the word PASS: PULL, AIM, SQUEEZE, SWEEP.
